Hooves Etc , located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and Sunvalley
Ranch in Medicine Hat have joined forces to offer a herd of over 60 donkeys. We
have been in the donkey business for almost 15 years and have built up an

jack, standing 31". Rascal throws beautiful and correct babies. He is a multiple
Grand Champion and his off spring are influencing the top donkey herds world

MGF RJ is our guy who makes sunsets blush! He is a 32" rich medium sorrel
with confirmation to burn. Simply outstanding he has made his mark in the US and
now with his journey to Canada is adding his stamp of perfection to all his

Directions:
Hooves Etc is located on Fish Creek Ranch in the Bragg Creek area approximately
30 minutes south west of Calgary. Sunvalley Ranch is 40 minutes north east of
Medicine Hat. We will arrange for donkeys to be viewed at either ranch and,
within reason, we will deliver your new donkeys to you.

I Specialize in Quality in all my livestock - Black Angus,
Miniature Donkeys and Shorthorns. Purebred livestock have been in the family
since 1898 and 5 generations. The farm is located in west central Alberta, one
hour west of Red Deer or two hours northwest of Calgary or 2 hours southwest of
Edmonton. I am easily accessed by land and air. Black miniature donkeys are
my preference but quality in any color is the rule. Using the Ray Hunt
philosophy of making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult, the
donkeys are trained for halter, performance, or driving. MJB Venus Princess,
2002 NMDA National Reserve Grand Champion Jennet and 2002 NMDA National
Champion Foal was bred and owned by MJB Livestock. She now resides at Itsy
Bitsy Burro Co., LaGrange, TX. 2006 foals sired by MGF Leroy, 30 1/2"

This was Synergy’s second year in Open. He has won every Hi Point he has been
in. He is fully trained in all show events - in hand and driving and also is
trained in pair driving. He has a huge heart. He is easy to clip and to get
his feet trimmed. He loads and travels very good as well as stands for grooming.
Circle C Synsation
This was Synsation’s second year in showing. Last year he entered two shows and
was Hi Point Champion in both. This year he was 2009 Hi Point Green at the
Oregon Horse Center Donkey and Mule Show. He is a stunning halter donkey too!.
He is also fully trained in all show events - in and and driving as well as been
trained in pair driving. He has a bold striking movement and is like a statue
in halter making judges notice his alertness. He’s green for this year and has
so much potential. He too is easy to clip load, groom and getting his feet
trimmed.

This gorgeous young jack is unique to say the least! After 12 jennets, Smudge
gave us our first jack. He is compact with excellent confirmation and that
beautiful hip and eye that Smudge puts on all her babies. Many of Smudges foals
have gone on to win halter and trail championships many times, both in Canada
and the United States. Their foals are now following in the family footsteps
making their stand in the show ring.

We are a small breeding farm located 40 minutes east of Vancouver, BC. We give
the utmost care to all of our donkeys right from birth. We let our donkeys be
donkeys, handled daily and allowed to interact and play to create better
temperament and a willingness to learn, regardless if they are show quality or

Home to quality registered mammoth and miniature donkeys. We only have a few
foals each year so that we can give each of the donkeys the individual attention
they deserve. Our donkeys are handled daily, socialized with goats, sheep,
llamas and horses. They are brushed down, feet picked and of course they get
their treats. They lead, tie and stand for the farrier. Our donkeys have the
kind of temperament donkeys should have. They love people. You can't get into
the field without being mobbed by "the herd". They are all up to date on their

Ass Back Wood Acres offers Quality CDMA Registered miniature donkeys in various
colours. We are strong in sorrel and dark colours at this time. Our small herd
has some of the best genetics you can get in a miniature donkey and has been

Pekard Miniature Donkey is home to approx. 80 donkeys. We have been fortunate
enough to a acquire a broad base of foundation jennets with deep pedigrees. We
have incorporated such established lines as " LN & Fisher" into our breeding
program. By following the guidelines of successful programs ,we have a
