I Specialize in Quality in all my livestock - Black Angus,
Miniature Donkeys and Shorthorns. Purebred livestock have been in the family
since 1898 and 5 generations. The farm is located in west central Alberta, one
hour west of Red Deer or two hours northwest of Calgary or 2 hours southwest of
Edmonton. I am easily accessed by land and air. Black miniature donkeys are
my preference but quality in any color is the rule. Using the Ray Hunt
philosophy of making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult, the
donkeys are trained for halter, performance, or driving. MJB Venus Princess,
2002 NMDA National Reserve Grand Champion Jennet and 2002 NMDA National
Champion Foal was bred and owned by MJB Livestock. She now resides at Itsy
Bitsy Burro Co., LaGrange, TX. 2006 foals sired by MGF Leroy, 30 1/2"

Hooves Etc , located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and Sunvalley
Ranch in Medicine Hat have joined forces to offer a herd of over 60 donkeys. We
have been in the donkey business for almost 15 years and have built up an
impressive group of outstanding jennets. We have champion jacks - Hooves Etc
Rascal - 31"light tan, Hooves Etc Riley -32" brown and MGF RJ a
brilliant 32" sorrel. We have donkeys for show, driving and companions. We will

Herdsire:
Hooves Etc Rascal...31" and wow.. he has it all. Judges across the country have
agreed and placed him as Champion Jack at shows such as the Calgary Stampede,
Westerner and Chinook Classic. Watch for the "Arabian" head he gives his foals.
MGF RJ .. 32" a brilliant red. RJ was the feature red jack at McRoberts Game
Farm until he came north. He has exceptional confirmation that he passes on to
his babies.
Directions:
Hooves Etc is located on Fish Creek Ranch in the Bragg Creek area approximately
30 minutes south west of Calgary. Sunvalley Ranch is 40 minutes north east of
Medicine Hat. We will arrange for donkeys to be viewed at either ranch and,
within reason, we will deliver your new donkeys to you.

We have a selection of geldings available. Some are broke to drive and some are

Ass Back Wood Acres offers Quality CDMA Registered miniature donkeys in various
colours. We are strong in sorrel and dark colours at this time. Our small herd
has some of the best genetics you can get in a miniature donkey and has been
selected from Ontario, Alberta and the USA, for temperament, conformation,
colour and size. We are located just off the 401, 15 minutes east of Bellville

We are a small farm with the goal of breeding well-built miniature donkeys with
solid temperaments. We hand raise our babies so that they are used to being
handled and are well socialized by the time they leave our farm. Each Camar
donkey will be microchipped, registered and halter broken before going to a new
