We are a small farm located in Rockford, IL. We raise quality registered
miniature donkeys and horses that are suitable for show or just as a terrific
family pet. Our equine are socialized with children and loved by all of
us. We strive to make our foals affordable for everyone without

ADMS registered miniature donkeys can be found at Big River Miniature Donkey
Farm. We have two herdsires: one black, Hill's Haven, Turbo and a Sorrell, D&F
Farms, Moon Beam. Our breeding program focus is on conformation (drafty with
broad front and round rear), size (31" - 34" tall), pedigree and color. We
strive to produce high quality miniature donkeys. We are both school teachers
and our two sons take part in the raising and care of our small herd. We are
easily accessible from Highway 34 and Interstate 80. Visitors are welcome! Feel

Selectively breeding and gently raising miniature donkeys for over 10 years. We
have over 70 donkeys with diversified bloodlines. Browns, brown/blacks, sorrels,
spotted and the beautiful traditional gray dun. Standing at stud: 31 1/2" gray
dun Mini Trails Candy Stripper and 30 1/2" black Crown Meadow's Figgy
Newton. We have shipped our donkeys all over the U.S. and are experienced with
exporting to other countries (France, England, Australia) Visitors welcome by

Located just outside of the Quad Cities and 170 miles west of Chicago we are
easy to find. Interstate 80 to Hwy 84 east, turn right on 71st St. for 3 miles,
turn left on 239th and into Prairie Ridge Estates. We are the last house with
the donkeys in the front!

love to walk the neighborhood with the kids. Titan is dark brown and Knox is a
dark sorrel. Great bloodlines, small and stocky, with friendly dispositions,
they will be your child's best friends.
