We live on a small farm outside of Yamhill Oregon where we have raised 4
children, some foster children and an assortment of animals from sheep and cows
to English mastiffs, turkeys and miniature donkeys. 15 years ago we purchased
our first donkey, Angelo, to use as a guard animal for our sheep. He was
absolutely fantastic and proved not only to do his job but to be smart,
personable, and terrific with children. From there we were hooked and added a
female companion who has produced some wonderful offspring. Our small herd is
solely a hobby for us. (Eric is an equine veterinarian) Babies are handled
regularly from birth with love and attention. We breed registered stock for top

There's a new guy on the block!!! His name is "HD's Little Magic". We
have only had this little Spotted 'Magic Man' for a few months but we are so
pleased with him. Thus far, he has pleasured every jennet we have put with
him!! Stay tuned for the outcome starting this Fall. Stud Fee: $500 to a
select few jennets.
Also, waiting in the wings, is our little junior herdsire: Du Plessis's
LittleBlack Pennington. This little boy is a tank at a year old and only
29" tall. We will start him out with a couple of his own jennets this Fall. See
